• Students now do not have any restriction to working; they can work as many hours a week as companies require them if they are paid as per the Australian fair work act.
• Working holiday visa people can now work for more than 6 months at a company with no restrictions so they can work for you for the length of the visa they hold.

If you need more long-term skilled workers, then the TSS/482 visa is the one to bring them in on.

The key points for the TSS/482 visa individual to be sponsored are:

• They hold a relevant degree or higher qualification in the skill you want to employ them under
• Plus, they have two full-time years’ experience within the last five years within that skillset
• And their occupation needs to be on the government’s skills occupation list Skilled occupation list (SOL). Please note there are two lists the 4-year list, which leads to permeant residency and the 2-year list that does not unless you are employed and living in rural Australia…
• Double vaccinated

The government and the immigration department are changing the rules daily to try to assist with this shortage of workers, both skilled and non-skilled.
